Created in the 1970s by Oscar Niemeyer and his daughter Anna Maria, the Alta Armchair – with its perfect curve, that starts at its base and reaches is backrest – is an icon of Brazilian modernist furniture design. This version in stainless steel was created late in the same decade for the headquarters of the French Communist Party.
