Itamaraty Tray

The piece is a reinterpretation of Paulo Werneck’s work by his grandson, Gaspar Saldanha, in a partnership with ETEL. The shape of the Itamaraty Tray, with its inclined borders, is based on an original design by Paulo Werneck, who used it as a work tool, to move his mosaics in his studio. The mosaic is a detail of the mural created for Oscar Niemeyer’s Itamaraty Palace, in Brasília.
