1948 /2012
Originally designed in 1962, this elegant piece of furniture spent decades hidden in Jorge’s garage. In 2011 – almost fifty years after the initial sketches were drawn – Zalszupin’s daughter, Veronica, was looking for objects for a solo exhibition of the architect’s work when she stumbled upon this treasure. The armchair, damaged by the passing of time, was hidden in the back of an unused room. She knew at first sight she had discovered a jewel. Its slender structure and the brass work on the back give the piece a delicate and graceful appearance.
