Following a forty-year period during which he did not design a single piece of furniture, in 2008, at the age of 86, Jorge Zalszupin created the Veronica armchair. “This piece was conceived instinctively, as were all my designs, in around one hour. All it took was a blank page for the idea to come up; no references, really. I wanted something curvaceous, cozy and in wood, which has a fascinating texture and smell,” said the author.
