Studio MK27

São Paulo / Brazil

The Studio MK27 was founded in the late 1970s in São Paulo by architect Marcio Kogan and today is composed of 45 architects and collaborators around the world. Kogan is an honorary member of the American Institute of Architecture, a professor at the Politecnico di Milano, and serves on the boards of the São Paulo Museum of Art and the Brazilian Museum of Sculpture and Ecology.

The designers at Studio MK27 are great admirers of Brazilian modernism and aim to continue this iconic artistic movement with a contemporary perspective. The studio’s projects value formal simplicity and are developed with meticulousness and attention to detail.

In 2024, the partnership between ETEL and Studio MK27 is born, bringing together the excellence of furniture design and manufacturing. Signed by Mariana Ruzante, Pedro Ribeiro, Isabella Rosa, Diana Radomysler, and Marcio Kogan, the pieces resulting from this collaboration carefully harmonize the rich heritage of Brazilian modernism with contemporary aesthetics.

"We often design everything in a house, from handrails to one-off pieces of furniture."
