The Open Easel (2022), designed by the designer Claudia Moreira Salles and released in limited editions using different types of wood from the ETEL collection, makes it possible to live with works of art in various contexts. As a manifesto, the Open Easel highlights the possibility of coexistence between unconventional architecture, art, and everyday life. "In modern and contemporary architecture, there are large glass surfaces, lacking wall space for artworks. The piece creates new possibilities for living with art in unconventional architecture," Claudia explains. "The idea is not to resemble a traditional easel used for painting but to have the rigidity to hold a painting." The first limited edition of 15 units was made in Timbaúba, and the second edition released for ABERTO/02 is inaugurated in Breu. The easels come in three dimensions: large for the floor, and small and medium for the table.
