Paulico Side Table

“Paulico”, Paulo Werneck’s nickname, is also the name of a set of tables that are part of the series of reinterpretations of his mosaic murals and original designs by his grandson, Gaspar Saldanha, trustee of his legacy. These small tables display the three styles found in Paulo’s oeuvre: “abstract”, with details from the mural of the Guarabira building, in Rio de Janeiro; “organic”, with details from the mural of the Federal Senate building, in Brasília; and “geometric”, with details from the mural of the Torquato Pessoa building, in Rio de Janeiro.
