Chair with arms

Armchair (1960), structured in jatoba wood, with a "U"-shaped curved backrest and natural rattan seats. Tenreiro adds to the organic design of his projects, the curved wooden backrest and the lightness of the thin structure of his tapered legs. This technique is widely used by Tenreiro in chairs, sofas, and armchairs, executed to create a balance between the raw material used and a structure that gives his pieces the true sensation of lightness.
